WOW id project START [24 Feb 2010]
WOW will start a new project from April in 2010.

Our projects are driven by each designer's individuality. Also for the ID Project, we have drawn out each designer’s individuality as much as possible. The designers start from their original objective, and from there they create video works with their own personal touch. It's not only a pure attempt at different expression but also a competitive environment, which stimulates each designer to do their best and enhances their motivation.

We will gradually add new works on the website. Please check it later, and have fun.

ID = Identity = individuality, character, self, uniqueness

addLib [03 Feb 2010]
WOW is delighted to announce we have released an application
for iPhone “addLib” in the iTunes Store of Apple, which is the first
commemorative application from our project “AppArt” by WOW.

addLib changes your photos into graphic design pieces. The types
of design are infinite. It produces beautiful and sophisticated pieces
one after another based on the golden ratio and a fractal theory.
We respect a variety of algorithm, which people has found through
the process of searching for “nature” and “beauty”, and look
back graphic design in the 20th century with this application.

SIGGRAPH ASIA 2009_the pulse of innovation [05 Dec 2009]
WOW will be invited by SIGGRAPH ASIA held at Pacifico Yokohama in Japan from the 17th to the 19th December. SIGGRAPH is an international conference and exhibition representing the digital media field,
which mainly shows and introduces the world's leading experts on computer graphics and interactive technique. SIGGRAPH ASIA based in Asian countries has just started since last year.

Two works by WOW will be exhibited. One is an installation work “Tengible” that was shown in London 2006, and also Paris in September this year. In the work the border of real and unreal images becomes ambiguous by making the combination of real silhouettes of the objects and the video image of imaginary shadows. We hope you to enjoy and experience the “existing movie”, which is unsubstantial but looked so tangible and real.

Decode_Digital Design Sensations [04 Dec 2009]
WOW will be invited as one of the other 35 artists from all over the world for the exhibition “Decode: Digital Design Sensations” at the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington, London from the 8th of December 2009 to the 11th April 2010.We are showing the work “Light Rain” exhibited in Miyagi Art Museum in Japan, and Seoul Design Festival in 2007, which is now improved for “Decode”. “Light Rain” has an interactive motion graphics with the poetic story. The audience could feel like they got into the moving image while they meet the images of water drops, waves and bubbles as the subject of the work. Enjoy the work whose visual, audio and the technical features are integrated naturally and mildly.
