e-Palette Concept Movie
TOYOTA|2018
CES is a comprehensive technology exhibit held in Las Vegas, USA every January. In conjunction with Toyota announcing its in-development mobility service EV “e-Palette Concept” at CES 2018, WOW was in charge of the planning, direction, and production of the main screen video and vehicle screen video that introduced the concept and functions.
“e-Palette Concept is a next generation EV specifically for MaaS that makes use of electrified, connected, automatic driving technology. As it can be used for a variety of services such as transportation, distribution, and sales, we hope to offer a “new mobility” that supports people’s lives. In the future, we aim to optimize services such as the mutual use of one vehicle by multiple service providers and an efficient and consistent transportation system using vehicles of a variety of sizes. In addition, by installing an interior that meets the needs of service providers, for example by making travel time more meaningful by providing services to be used during transportation, e-Palette Concept plans on contributing to the creation of a new mobility service.”

About the main screen video
In order to have viewers understand what changes e-Palette will bring to our lives, we created two videos, an opening video and an instructional video that explains basic functions. The opening video shows how the e-Palette's interior (functionality) has been created to meet the request of the operators, and those services being provided. The basic functionality instructional video shows the multifunctionality of a single e-Palette and how the way it is used changes with time, as well as the e-Palette, with its multiple size variations, working effectively and reforming distribution. These two videos, which show in visuals a future world where the e-Palette is loved by all, were shown on a wide screen behind the concept car at the press conference and general exhibition.
About the vehicle screen image
There are three LED screens mounted on the front, back, and side of the concept car, and in accordance with the progress of the images displayed on the main screen, the vehicle screens showed visuals with illusory effects. This performance, which makes the inside of the vehicle appear as a life-sized space, not only surprised the people who saw it, but also allowed them to experience the future in which the e-Palette exists as a realized reality.
