The 9th online talk event in the “WOW Talk” series led by WOW staff will be held on October 7 (Thu) at 7 pm. The talk will center on the making of the WOW original short film “Contour” which was released this summer.
AR + motion graphics "WOW AR" new release available on app

"WOW AR" is an app that lets users enjoy works in which AR (augmented reality) and motion graphics, a forte of WOW, are used. It is released in the year 2020 with the goal to turn all environments into art installations. As a second release, 2 works of motion graphics are available.
Held for the third time this year, the Reborn-Art Festival 2021–2022, a comprehensive arts festival, opens on Wednesday, August 11. With the help of Executive Producer Takeshi Kobayashi and Art Director Chie Morimoto, WOW will be participating in an installation piece that draws its inspiration from the song “forgive” by Bank Band.
WOW's Original Short Film “Contour” will be released for premium viewing on the WOW Youtube Channel on July 30 (Fri) at 9:00 pm (JST). This work was produced as part of WOW's 25th Anniversary Exhibition Project to commemorate WOW's 25th anniversary this year.

“Yoichi Ochiai x Japan Philharmonic Orchestra Project,” which started in 2018 with the theme of “reimagining orchestra through technology,” is celebrating its fifth performance this year. This year’s concept is “open your senses.” Under the title of “Sound of Digital Fermentation,” the aim is to present a concert that will reclaim music and physicality by awakening the five senses, including the sense of smell and taste, through a live orchestra.

Opening of “Digital Art Garden” and “AR Art Fireworks”

The “Digital Art Garden,” with creative direction and performance led by WOW, is returning to the grass square of Tokyo Midtown. The large installation, in which a 40m x 20m garden is filled with fog and then illuminated, is part of "Midtown Art Palette," starting Friday, July 16th at Tokyo Midtown.

The WOW Short Film Festival is an exhibition of WOW’s latest video works. It will be held from Friday July 2 to Sunday July 4, 2021 at JINNAN HOUSE, a cafe gallery surrounded by greenery between Shibuya and Harajuku. It will be the premiere screening for new works including “Contours” and “POEM” prior to their release this summer.
