The Nissan Pavilion, an experience-based entertainment complex where you can experience the technology and future vision which Nissan Motor is proud of has opened for a limited time at Yokohama’s Minato Mirai. The concept is to “Expand Human Potential.” Out of the numerous experience-based content which illustrates the near future made possible by Nissan’s technology, WOW was put in charge of directing and producing the “THE CITY” area. Here, you can experience installations with the motif of “a city invigorated by the connections created by cars and people or society.” THE CITY visually depicts the 2 Visions held by Nissan.

“SPACE TIME JOURNEY -The Journey of Art Through Space and Time-” Exhibition at the Takanawa Gateway Fest

The latest digital art museum has been established at the Takanawa Gateway Fest with the theme of “a train journey through art that transcends space and time.” Highways have crossed through the Shinagawa/Takanawa area since long ago, making it a gateway for people and goods to move in and out of Tokyo, and Japan’s first railway ran here during the Meiji era. The three works “Space Time Journey,” “Picture Journey,” and “Tokyo Geo/Map Journey” were planned, produced, and created to convey the excitement of traveling and the anticipation of going to unknown worlds.
CITIZEN Riiiver: WOW oversaw Communication Design

WOW oversaw the planning and creation of the new IoT platform Riiiver, which was co-developed by Citizen Watch and VELDT. Riiiver was planned to bring out the potential of the Citizen Watch wristwatch products and to change people’s lifestyle for the better. Beginning with these watches, the new IoT platform, which was created in 2019, organically connects people, physical things, and ideas, and offers people a new experience of “time”.
Media Ambition Tokyo 2020

The installation piece “BAKERU” which takes its motif from traditional performing arts in the Tohoku region finished its exhibition “BAKERU: Transforming Spirits” the other day in the United States in Los Angeles. On July 19 (Fri.), a 12-screen large cinema complex, the “Grand Cinema Sunshine”, will be opening in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Under the direction of WOW, the chandelier (“Light Sculpture”) located in the entrance lobby of the 4th floor of the complex and the large LED display (“Motion Ceiling”) that covers the ceiling of the 12th floor have been procured.

This year, WOW will participate again in “Yoichi Ochiai X Japan Philharmonic Orchestra Project” as a “video performer.” This year, the first night is titled “Diversity 《Sound-Free Concert 2019》” and the second night is titled “Art 《The Crossing Un-Orchestra》,” and it will be double performances lasting two weeks.
